Vandre

By Elisabeth Frafjord Solberg

A walk in nature can be many things. Short or long, on a mountain top, across a highland plateau, by the sea or alongside a lake. Going for a walk in nature can consist of both smaller and larger goals. When you reach a goal you’ll experience a sense of achievement and joy. You’ll be more relaxed and feel good as a result. A goal can be finding a place to rest, to eat, reach a summit, get some fresh air, just being somewhere and enjoying the view or enjoying a cup of coffee – alone or together. To be in nature is something Norwegians «always» have done and it’s associated with something positive. But for many the threshold for going outside can be high. Some people might need motivation to start and a goal for their hike. The project is a hike where you experience different emotions and motivations, with a cabin as an end goal.
